Conversion runs entirely on your device; your files are not uploaded to AnyToMD servers or the cloud. Markdown output, saved files, and any images you optionally extract are stored only where you choose on your computer. No document content or conversion results are transmitted to us or to third parties by the app.
Third-Party Services
The AnyToMD App does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data. We do not use advertising, analytics, or any other third-party trackers in our app. AnyToMD uses the open-source MarkItDown library locally on your Mac to perform conversions; that library does not send your documents to external services as part of normal app use. Your experience with AnyToMD App is fully contained within the app on your machine.

We take reasonable care to design the app so that processing stays on your Mac and that any information in your documents remains under your control.
